G Fuel first introduced their Ready-to-drink cans in July of 2019. Since then, they have released a total of 10 different flavors. The 11th flavor is peach rings, a partnership with G Fuel, and Sonic the Hedgehog. The RTD cans are great if you are on the go or want the extra boost of caffeine. G Fuel’s RTD cans contain a proprietary blend of caffeine and L-Tyrosine that improves energy, focus, and reaction time.
G Fuel is a brand of gaming supplements made by Gamma Labs. Designed for gamers, G Fuel increases alertness, energy, and endurance without the crash or jitters. G Fuel is leading the industry with the most flavors and affordable prices. They currently offer an energy formula that you mix with water and ready-to-drink cans.
Sonic peach rings is their newest flavor from G Fuel, releasing on August 12th, 2020. It is available in RTD cans or their original energy formula that mixes with water. Designed to mimic the gummy candy peach rings.
I was really surprised when I first tasted G Fuel’s Sonic peach rings. It’s almost identical to the gummy peach rings you had in your childhood. I’ve had one can a day for the past few days and I’m still looking forward to having another. This is definitely something I could drink all the time.
I’m also looking forward to trying the energy formula version of this flavor. Sometimes I like having no carbonation, and I find the powder version of the flavors are better.
Peach rings is one of my favorite flavors. The peach taste is pretty strong, with medium carbonation. It’s also pretty sweet, which is needed as it’s mimicking a candy flavor. I highly recommend trying this flavor.
The 300 mg of caffeine, L-Theanine and L-Tyrosine, and assorted vitamins work together to provide focus and alertness. I find it works faster than the formula.
G Fuel’s RTD cans slightly different compared to the energy formula. It has 0 calories, 0 sugar, and is sweetened with sucralose. I would love to see a better sweetener in the future. Some other ingredients include:

When purchasing a 12 pack from G Fuel’s website, it comes out to $41 after shipping and taxes. The cost is $3.6 per 16 oz can, which is on the higher end. I recommend using the Honey Chrome extension to find a 30% off code, or just purchase from Walmart’s website for a cheaper price and free shipping.
Overall, I rate the Sonic Peach Rings cans 8.8/10.
I personally prefer the taste of the energy formula of G Fuel’s flavors compared to the cans. I would love to see a version of the cans with less caffeine. A lot of the time I don’t need 300 mg of caffeine, but don’t have time to mix up some formula.
Should you go with the peach rings cans? If you like the convenience of the can or want the extra boost of caffeine. If you want to get more bang for your buck, the tub of the formula is a better deal. Either way, it’s an amazing flavor that you will enjoy.
